About The Mental Health Initiative
Specialist coaching for stress and anxiety.
Who we are...
Sue Topham and Graham Parish offer specialist coaching for stress and anxiety and are the co-founders of The Mental Health Initiative.
They are passionate advocates for the promotion of mental health awareness and strongly believe in teaching people the mental fitness, resilience and wellbeing skills they need to self-manage their own mental wellbeing and feel good factor.
As a not for profit Social Enterprise, they also provide their services for those with stress and anxiety issues within the wider community.
Sue and Graham are extremely experienced at delivering specialist stress and anxiety coaching, they are also trainers, and therapists, and they both have had extensive training to support them in the work that they do with people suffering from stress and anxiety.
With a lived experience of stress and anxiety themselves they have real empathy for their clients needs, and having tried many methods to overcome their own issues it wasn't until they discovered what they now teach to their clients, that they were able to break free from their own issues, and experience the feel-good factor for themselves.
It is now Sue and Graham's passion in life to help as many people as possible to experience their own feel-good factor as well.
They work with people from all walks of life, and they realise that as everyone is different, so are the solutions that they need to succeed. Much of the work that they do is bespoke and tailored to their clients' individual needs.
Everyone should experience the feel-good factor in their lives, know how to self-manage their own mental health and wellbeing, and have the skills and resilience to be able to deal with the everyday challenges that life throws at them.
Is to equip as many people as possible with the skills they need to enable them to self-manage their own mental health and wellbeing.
To treat everyone equally and fairly, to be fully inclusive and aware of, and accommodate people's specific needs.
We are committed to promoting equality and diversity, and opposing discrimination on the basis of gender, marital or civil partnership status, religious belief, race, disability, age, and sexual orientation.
What we do...
We train, coach and mentor people how to use simple mental fitness skills through our workshops and specialist stress and anxiety coaching programmes. Our workshops use tried and tested, innovative psycho-educational tools and techniques to embed simple, easy to use skills.
We also provide help, information, support, and understanding for people already suffering from stress and anxiety.
Who we work with...
We work with individuals, charities, community groups, clubs, and organizations, in businesses and schools, colleges and universities.
Our workshops and one to one coaching services can be tailored to suit individual particular requirements, and we can easily design a programme that suits your needs perfectly.
